User Guide & FAQ

Welcome to the comprehensive guide for using the Shree Ram Jaap web application.

How to Use the App

1. How do I start chanting (Likhita Japa)?
On the home page, you have two primary modes: Touch and Voice. In Touch mode, simply tap the large "राम" button to increment your counter. This simulates the act of writing the name. In Voice mode, you can chant into your microphone, and the app will detect the holy name.
2. How is my progress tracked?
The app tracks your progress in "Beads" (up to 108) and "Malas" (1 Mala = 108 Beads). Your daily total is also recorded. If you log in with Google, your progress is saved securely to the cloud and synced across your devices.
3. What are the different themes?
You can toggle between different visual themes (like Light, Dark, or Saffron) using the moon/sun icon in the top right corner. You can also change the background music and chanting sounds using the floating scroll widgets in the bottom corners of the screen.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is my data secure?
